I will only enter and work in the Rail Danger Zone when all the required controls are in place
10.1 Confirm all workers performing rail safety work hold the relevant competency
10.2 Confirm the qualified worker in charge of rail worksite protection understands and can safely perform their responsibilities
10.3 Ensure the qualified worker in charge undertakes a worksite protection site specific risk assessment
10.4 Develop a Worksite Protection Plan to manage the risks identified in the worksite protection site specific risk assessment
10.5 Implement controls identified in the worksite protection plan prior to commencing work
10.A Always wear rail compliant personal protective clothing and carry your Rail Industry Worker Card
10.B Participate and sign onto a pre-work brief with the qualified worker in charge
10.C Confirm with the qualified worker in charge that the worksite protection controls are in place prior to commencing work
10.D Follow the network rules and rail safety instructions of the qualified worker in charge
10.E Review and revise the worksite protection plan if required and when changes affect the worksite protection controls
10.F Ensure rail infrastructure is certified for operation and clear of any obstructions prior to handback to the Network Operator
