RISK – Qualified Worker in Charge does not brief workers onsite on all foreseeable risks in the risk assessment, resulting in serious Incident (WHS) and / or Category A notifiable occurrence (RSNL)
Any pre-work briefings must refer to the site-specific risks identified in the worksite protection plan. This brief is delivered by the qualified worker in charge of worksite protection.
Everyone must participate and sign onto the pre-work briefing with the qualified worker in charge that covers the track protection requirements of the worksite protection plan.
Everyone must actively participate in and understand the risks and controls within the prework brief and worksite protection plan.
Including:
- The type of work to be undertaken,
- The location and limits of the works
- Duration of occupation, and
- The level of worksite protection required.
If unsure seek clarification before signing onto the prework brief and commencing work.
