RISK – Qualified Worker in Charge does not apply correct physical protection to protect worksite, resulting in serious incident (WHS) and / or Category A notifiable occurrence (RSNL)
This confirmation needs to be carried out by the person in control of the work group, who must have appropriate experience in the rail environment (e.g. superintendent/site supervisor).
Ensure the physical protection as identified on the worksite protection plan is implemented correctly on site and does not negatively impact the normal train operations.
Ensure the assessed level of worksite protection is in place as in accordance with the network rules and procedures, including (stop boards, signal blocking, rail track signals, etc).
