RISK – Document a safe system of work for all electrical work
A safe system of work may include an Electrical Works Management Plan, Electrical Safety Management Scheme, Safe Operating Procedures and TRAs/Safe Work Method Statements.
Contractors may use their own documented safe system of work provided it is reviewed and approved by John Holland.
A safe system of work for electrical work is a comprehensive and integrated system for managing risks during the performance of electrical work and ensuring that when complete, the work is tested and proven to be electrically safe.
There are a number of processes John Holland has in place to ensure those conducting electrical work have the necessary systems and processes in place to do so. These include:
- Electrical Subcontractor or Major Supplier Tender Interview Questionnaire
- Electrical Contractor Documentation Review
- Electrical Safety Inspection Checklist
- Electrical Safety GMR Audit
