Only enter areas at height using the designated entry points.

All unauthorised alterations of edge protection such as removing guard rails, scaffold planks, ties, toe boards, braces, or mesh are strictly prohibited on all John Holland sites. Standing on mid rails, kick boards or any object that would result in the top rail being lower than 900mm from the workers feet is also prohibited.

If you cannot gain adequate access to a work area using the platforms and edge protection provided, stop work and contact your immediate Supervisor. Under no circumstances can you climb over edge protection or raise yourself above the working platform to gain additional height.
