A consultation forum is either a meeting exclusively for the Wellbeing Committee, or a permanent agenda item for the Wellbeing Committee to discuss within an existing leadership meeting.

Wellbeing Champions (WCh’s) support workers with their Wellbeing issues and concerns.

WCh’s are accredited mental health first aiders, sit on the Wellbeing Committee (WCo), and relay Wellbeing concerns to the WCo to improve culture, health and general wellbeing within their workplace.

WCh’s provide confidential support where necessary and have an in-depth knowledge of where to refer people, and what wellbeing programs and resources John Holland offers.

WCh’s will be nominated either by themselves or by someone else at the workplace.  The Workplace Manager will appoint the most appropriate WCh from any of the nominated persons regardless of the number of nominations.

The functions of the Wellbeing Committee include (but are not limited to):

• Identifying wellbeing risks and concerns
• Reviewing the Wellbeing and Fatigue Management Plan
• Analysing findings from wellbeing surveys
• Reviewing the wellbeing program schedule
• Supporting and implementing wellbeing programs
• Implementing wellbeing training
• Continued promotion of workplace wellbeing
