The Temporary Works Register established during pre-contracts phase is to be further developed during the delivery phase and maintained by the TWC for the duration of the works.
A Temporary Works Register (linked below) template has been developed as a guide, alternatively the Temporary Works Register on Project Pack Web (PPW) can be used.
The register is a single document used by the workplace to identify and record all Temporary Works Design Packages required to complete the works. The register will also outline:
- Package Name and Description
- Temporary Works Risk Category
- Temporary Works Package Owner
- Temporary Works Designer, Design Checker and Proof Engineer (where applicable)
- Timeframes required for Design Reviews
- Site Validation and on-going inspections and monitoring
- Status of Safety in Design reviews
The Temporary Works Register and manual are to be referenced as inputs to the Permanent Works Designers – particularly where there are complex interfaces – to ensure cost-effective integration of Temporary and Permanent Works design and construction.
