RISK – Temporary Work failure

The approved construction methodology should be detailed in either the AMS, TRA and/or manufacturers' specifications.

The approved methodology will also capture competency requirements for the installation and removal of temporary works.

The dismantling and removal of temporary works must be completed by persons who hold the appropriate license and/or competency.

1.A Only operate plant, machinery or vehicles, if you hold the applicable license, have been verified competent (if required), and have completed a daily pre-start check of the equipment

2.B Only access an excavation deeper than 1.5meters if it has been benched, battered, shored or signed off by a Geotechnical Engineer

5.A Do not remove or travel through any edge protection, barricade or exclusion zones unless authorised

5.B Do not overload, or make any adjustments to, working platforms or fall protection devices unless authorised

5.E Ensure you are trained to perform your role in any work at height and/or grid mesh activities
