RISK – Temporary Works not adequately risk assessed
Refer to the Temporary Works Risk Assessment Matrix to determine the risk category of each temporary works.
For frequently performed temporary works activities, a table of pre-determined risk categorisation assessments has been developed as a guide to assist in this process. This can be found in the Temporary Works Manual.
Use the Temporary Work Risk Assessment Matrix and Categorisation Matrix to determine whether the temporary work is a high (CAT 3), medium (CAT 2), low (CAT 1), or very low (CAT 0) based on consequence and complexity rating

Once you have identified whether the temporary work is considered a high, medium, low or very low, and the TWC has approved this risk categorisation, follow GMR 7.4.
