7.D Implement a temporary work inspection schedule for all temporary works

The Temporary Works Designer and Temporary Works Coordinator will specify the inspection requirements (including who will conduct the inspections and at what frequency).  

 

 

 

These inspection requirements will be documented in the Temporary Work Register.

 

All projects are to ensure temporary works are regularly monitored and inspected, with a specific inspection schedule established to ensure all temporary works packages remain fit for purpose throughout their Design Life, with any adverse signs of distress, damage, or unapproved alterations identified and addressed to prevent risk of failure.

 

 

It is the responsibility of the Temporary Works Package Owner, Temporary Works Designer, TWC and construction team to identify and develop an ongoing monitoring and inspection schedule appropriate to the risk category of the works.

 

The primary purpose of the inspection regime is to ensure temporary works remain correctly erected and functionally operational, and are being used in accordance with the design requirements.
